I don’t know about you guys,but I have always been a fan of Halloween (the holiday,not the movie, lol).Well when I do think of Halloween , of course you always think about scary movies. (Scary Movie..I liked them to..haha)

So I guess I am not a big time horror buff , but growing up I did like a couple of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.Sadly now watching them, I find them to be quite chessy.Not to say that most of the movies I watched back then would be considered cheesy now.lol

One movie series that really peeked my interest was the Scream trilogy.I thought it was one of the few scary flicks that actually didn’t have me laughing the whole time.It actually had an intriguing plot and the story just grabbed you from the first scene where poor Drew Barrymore (Casey) and her boyfriend Steve gets gutted like a fish.

Also I think that cast selection is key to having a hit or miss in a movie and in my opinion they definitely hit it out of the park with this cast.Neve Campbell played such a great heroine and I’m sorry but who doesn’t love Courtney and David Arquette.

Because I love these movies so much, I will most likely be writing more about them in depth towards Halloween.
